We work closely with physicians to solve problems for hard to source and hard to compound pharmaceuticals.

Summary

The Director of Human Resources (HR Director) will report to the CEO and be responsible for planning, managing, developing, and leading company policies, procedures, and HR personnel to ensure legal compliance and application of human resources strategies across the entire organization.

This role is crucial to supporting our mission and fostering a positive company culture.

Additionally, the HR Director will play a key role in organizational development to support our aggressive growth plans.

The HR Manager will report to the HR Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior leadership to gain insight into the business objectives and strategies associated with employee relations, recruitment, retention, training programs, and company culture. Develop, implement, and enhance policies, training, and HR processes. Oversee or administer human resources programs, including benefits, compensation, monthly incentives, disciplinary issues, leave, the investigation into disputes, talent and performance management, morale and recognition, workplace health and safety, development and training. Identify recruitment and employment relations needs, and develop and implement HR practices, such as hiring and talent management. Monitor and ensure the company’s compliance with state, federal, and local legal requirements, and suggest the best practices, modifications, and reviews to maintain adherence. Stay updated on the best regulatory measures, practices, and new technologies in human resource management, employment law, and talent management, and apply this knowledge to communicate any changes or updates to policies, practices, and resources to senior management. Manage job satisfaction and employee engagement initiatives. Assist leadership in assessing organizational structure to support growth and development.

Experience and Qualifications:

Experience supporting and developing comprehensive employee training and development programs. Demonstrated history of driving HR efficiencies through development of processes and procedures covering the full employee lifecycle (e.g., recruitment, onboarding, management, discipline, and termination). Proven track record of creating organization-wide compensation plans. Experience establishing creative internal recruiting strategies while leveraging third-party resources. Experience in organizational development and change management.

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Well-developed time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strategic thinking abilities regarding workforce planning and organizational design. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. The ability to delegate and prioritize tasks when necessary. Thorough knowledge of the laws and regulations in employee relations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR software.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or other HR related fields. A minimum of ten years of HR experience, with at least five years of management experience. SHRM-SCP/SPHR or SHRM-CP/PHR is preferred.
