JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a well-organized, energetic, and results-driven team-player with exceptional writing skills, a creative mind, and a proven track record of success to join our Marketing Team at Beaches. As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will work at our corporate office located in American Fork, UT and play a pivotal role in shaping our digital marketing strategy and driving results across various digital platforms. You will be mainly responsible for the creation, implementation, and optimization of all email and SMS marketing campaigns, blogs, managing in-store digital media items, and SEO/SEM strategy and optimization.

Your innovative ideas, performance analysis capabilities, and deep understanding of our target audience will be instrumental in promoting the Beaches brand, delivering valuable updates to our customers, strengthening our valued customer relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of our business.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

Digital Marketing Campaign Creation, Execution and Analysis:

Develop and execute creative, thoughtful, and impactful email and SMS marketing campaigns to engage and retain customers, leveraging technology to drive sales and increase brand loyalty.

Analyze email marketing performance metrics and KPIs to track campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Optimize conversion rates across digital channels, including websites, landing pages, and email campaigns, through A/B testing, UX optimization, and other strategies.

Build and maintain subscriber lists, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant regulations.

Digital Content Creation and Brand Management:

Design visually compelling graphics and multimedia content for use across digital channels, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.

Utilize CRM platforms to personalize marketing communications, nurture leads, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in digital marketing, proactively seeking opportunities to innovate and drive growth for the business.

Data Analysis and Strategy Development:

Analyze data from various sources to track and measure the performance of digital marketing campaigns, identify trends and insights, and generate actionable recommendations for optimization and improvement.

Implement SEO strategies to improve the visibility and reach of our online presence, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.

Manage paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, social media advertising, and display advertising networks, from campaign setup to budget management and performance analysis.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Communicates effectively and collaboratively with marketing team members to plan thoughtful, impactful, and multi-layered campaigns to ensure efforts are synchronized and goals/objectives are aligned.

Works closely with our IT teams to manage the company's website and all marketing efforts associated with it.

Works closely with marketing team to coordinate/collaborate with outside businesses, influencers, affiliates, athletes, etc. for digital promotional purposes.

Works closely with other corporate departments for digital needs such as online training videos, digital equipment/product informational resources for employees/customers, and more.

GENERAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Marketing Expertise:

Proven experience in digital marketing, encompassing email and SMS marketing, graphic design, SEO, CRO, CRM, and paid advertising.

Deep understanding of email and text marketing best practices and regulations.

Experience in campaign creation, performance analysis, and strategy optimization.

Proficient in audience segmentation, targeting techniques, A/B testing, and CRM systems integration.

Communication and Collaboration:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including HTML/CSS proficiency for template customization.

Exceptional communication, collaboration, and project management abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Effective self-management and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated with the capacity to collaborate across functional teams (e.g., product, sales, operations, customer care) to align digital marketing strategies with business objectives.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency in email marketing platforms and SMS marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact, Monday, Gmail).

Strong proficiency in graphic design software, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.

Excellent computer proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Google Workspace, Meta Business Suite, and various social media platforms essential for digital marketing.

Analytical and Strategic Thinking:

Robust analytical skills to derive insights from data and inform marketing strategies.

Analytical prowess to interpret campaign data and extract actionable insights.

REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma/ GED required.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field preferred

2+ years of proven experience

in digital marketing and data analysis, encompassing email and SMS marketing, graphic design, SEO, SEM, Geofencing, paid digital advertising, and other related fields.

Proficiency in email and SMS marketing platforms, especially MailChimp, Constant Contact, Monday, Outlook, and Gmail.

Excellent computer proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Google Workspace, Meta Business Suite, and various social media platforms essential for digital marketing.

Capable of working at least 30 hours a week

at our corporate office

in American Fork, UT, with the ability and flexibility to work remotely on a minimal as-needed basis. This

includes possible nights, early mornings, and weekends. Because our store hours are mainly 7am-10pm, there may be digital items that need updating before or after store hours to ensure a positive, uninterrupted customer experience.
