Vaco Staffing is hiring for an Accounting Specialist for a client in Brookfield, WI. This is a contract to hire position. As the Accounting Specialist you would be responsible for but not limited to the below:
Main duties:
Manage all accounting for each assigned market.
Ensure compliance with GAAP.
Prepare and post full month-end close cycle journal entries.
Reconcile bank and merchant accounts, balance sheet, and external reports and subledgers to the general ledger.
Prepare client monthly management reports and internal financial statements.
Calculate monthly distributions.
Prepare sales and use tax returns.
Participate in internal audits.
Requirements:
Associates Degree in Acounting
Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Pay Transparency Notice
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;
other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
