Our consultants are currently seeking qualified candidates for a VP Market Chief Financial Officer (CFO) position. General Summary The Market CFO is responsible for planning and controlling all financial activities for the organization while maintaining compliance with overall policies. The Market CFO is the senior executive for Finance responsible for their designated Market and is the financial counselor/advisor for the organization. The CFO plans, organizes, and administers the institution-wide program of financial management reporting and managed care contracting to best meet the strategic objectives of the organization. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Principal Duties And Job Responsibilities This executive position is focused on driving strategy, operational performance, and financial performance for both specific business units & the entire finance and supply chain team for the designated Market. Key responsibilities include: Plan, organize, and control financial policies and processes Develop and present operating and capital budgets, financial statements, and reports Develop, implement, and adhere to all accounting internal control policies and procedures Create or monitor all contract negotiations Assure insurance protection Coordinate risk management/limit liability claims and lawsuits Control reimbursement process, including credit and collection Construct annual report Participate in strategic planning for organization Take part in employment and performance review of finance employees Contribute to the position control process Maintain relations with financial consultants Support and enable Corporate Compliance Knowledge And Skills Required Constantly demonstrates integrity, compassion, balance, excellence, stewardship, and teamwork. Achieves Results: Reflects a drive to achieve and outperform, continuously looking for improvements Responsible: Accepts responsibility for actions and results Manages and Executes Projects: All aspects of engagement/project outcomes and timing are met Manages Change: Anticipates and drives change in order to meet organizational goals Teams with Others: Creates an environment that values individual perspectives, with common goals Develops Others: Recognizes colleagues’ strengths and opportunities, providing coaching Thought Leadership: Develops new insights and applies novel solutions to make improvements Subject Expertise: Possesses deep knowledge and specialized skill pertaining to job function Builds and Shares Knowledge: Develops and shares subject matter expertise Develops Self: Understands own strengths and development needs and owns personal development Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, healthcare administration, or a related field Minimum 5 years in healthcare finance, with exposure to multiple areas Education, Experience And Licensure Preferred Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field Ten (10) years in a senior financial management position CPA An equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations, and ordinances.
