Typical Day in the Role
•Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is •They provide engineering support for efforts that support LENS (law) and DSU (digital crime unit) and CCP.
•This role will be supporting their data processing systems team. Supporting data platforms in the security space.
•Key projects: This role will contribute to leading monthly distribution with customers and other tactical work like breaking down features into stories that the team can execute
•Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: •50% meetings (depends on the time of year), Expected to lead all sprint ceremonies and Expected to do heads down work

Candidate Requirements
•Years of Experience Required: 10+ overall years of experience in the field.
•Degrees or certifications required: N/A - experience is most important
•Disqualifiers: If candidate is not a U.S. citizen and if they have not been a program manager before.
•Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain:
•Candidates with data governance and ideally with migration from one platform to another experience
•Experience with ADO
•Program related process development experience
•Microsoft tooling experience
•Prior Microsoft experience
•Self-management experience / initiative
•Power BI's, dashboards and data analytics experience
•Communication Skills / Presentation skills
•Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on Quality of work and meeting deadlines and ability to communicate when things change and when change is needed

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
•1. Program Management / Scrum Master (ADO) (10+ YOE) - they will be Scrum master for this team and drive processes
•2. Data Warehouse Experience (did not have to be a DDA or tech analysis - need to have experience running the programs) (10+ YOE)
•3. Power BI, dashboards, data analytical skills (10+ YOE)

Hard Skills Assessments
•Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: ASAP.
•Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include standard interview.
•Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should have resume prepared prior to the assessment.

Summary:

Drive programs/projects from project initiation through delivery. Interface with clients on technical and business issues. Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints. Provide program/project schedules and status reports.
•Ability to lead large business or engineering programs from inception to implementation in partnership with a product manager, an engineering lead/team, and across a variety of internal and external stakeholders
•Ability to evaluate requirements, perform gap assessments and develop achievable execution and/or remediation plans
•Action and results oriented self-starter with the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete information
•Ability to interface across groups on both business and technical matters
•Strong project management skill set with the ability to work independently to drive projects through delivery
•Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate requirements to management, control owners, and app/service/environment owners and teams
•Proven track record of achieving success through teamwork, collaboration, leading and influencing without authority, resolving conflict, and measuring results
•Proven track record working in an Agile environment
•Strong Azure DevOps and Azure fundamentals experience
