In this full-time role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the accounting team's operations.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:

  • Verify and process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and maintain up-to-date ledgers.
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and deposits, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing reports and reconciliations.
  • Maintain organized financial records, filing systems, and document management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, verify, and analyze financial data.
  • Perform data entry, document scanning, and administrative tasks to support the accounting department.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

What we are looking for in an Accounting Clerk:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
