We're committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and communities. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you'll play a vital role in enhancing clinical nutrition care at NRHS. Responsibilities Work closely with the Clinical Nutrition Supervisor and Department Director to develop and implement nutrition care plans for patients. Provide inpatient care and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality nutrition care. Precept clinical interns and students, and serve as a liaison between the clinical nutrition team and other disciplines and providers. Develop and deliver training programs for the clinical team and other departments. Qualifications Education: Any program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that leads to registration as a Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RD/RDN). Basic knowledge of subspecialty areas, including nutrition support, diabetes, cardiology, renal, and oncology. Must obtain approximately 15 hours of continuing education credits per calendar year and stay current with new findings and research. Experience: Knowledge of different formulas for assessing patient nutritional needs, completion of general and patient care orientation, and six months of clinical experience in an acute care facility (preferred). Licensure/Certifications: Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and an Oklahoma State license. Must obtain a food handler's permit from Cleveland County Health department before hire (or within one week of hire). Compensation/Benefits $1,000 Sign-On Bonus Included $23.57-$37.37/hr depending on previous work experience $2.50/hr Premium for being PRN
