Tanknology, a global leader in environmental compliance, is in need of a Customer Service Representative for our offices located in Owatonna, MN. This role is new to the company and other duties may be added as time management is worked out. This is an opportunity to carve out your role and help determine the direction of your career. The idea is to combine parts of Operations as well as low pressure sales. The official Sales team will handle the big accounts; this side is more of the Mom and Pop style sales, so NOT high pressure. And don't worry, this is a very unique industry so almost no one has experience; we will teach you. Current Job Functions Are Planned To Be Effectively manage incoming calls, electronic and written inquiries regarding orders and service and ensure prompt, courteous and accurate responses. Communicates with Ops and techs to ensure prompt, courteous service. Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve customer satisfaction and retention. Investigate customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives and follow-up on resolutions. Outbound calls to follow up on 'reminder letters'. Provide service cost quotes and service information as required. Set up new customer accounts. Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers and coworkers either by telephone, electronically or in person. Create and process work orders for service additions or change requests. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions. Record details of inquiries, comments, complaints, and actions taken. Additional responsibilities and duties as required to support the team when requested. The Ideal Person Will Have The Following Qualifications Excellent computer skills: MS Office power user: utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Drive. Excellent verbal and telephone skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills. Professionalism and integrity. Teamwork and relationship-building. Results oriented.
