New York Tech's Manhattan campus seeks an Associate Director for International Admissions recruitment, who will execute an international strategic recruitment plan. This role is considered a hybrid/remote position that offers the flexibility of working remotely and in the NYC office, in line with NYTech policy. The Associate Director will be responsible for meeting enrollment objectives in their designated territories, with a focus on recruitment of an international student population, as well as other duties and responsibilities to meet NYTech's undergraduate and graduate student enrollment goals.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Provide strategic leadership and effective management of the international staff members and work towards enhancing the recruitment efforts, in alignment with current strategic plan within Office of Enrollment Management
* Develop and implement a strategic international recruitment plan to meet admission goals at New York campuses; use internal and external data to assess effectiveness and provide periodic reports and ongoing recommendations; assist with focused marketing and communication planning;
* Spearhead the productive engagement with a wide network of international recruiting constituents to maximize yield, while maintaining current agent partnerships, must continually seek new partnerships that are aligned with meeting strategic goals
* Collaborate with internal institutional stakeholders (academic deans, program chairs and university administrators) to grow and shape international enrollment.
* Manage designated international recruitment territories and attend recruitment fairs and events; actively manage and elevate opportunities for student engagement throughout enrollment life cycle, including reviewing and evaluating admissions files and providing guidance through the application process
* Supervise a professional, support and temp staff to ensure timely and accurate turnaround of all international; provide exceptional customer service;
* Collaborate with International Education team to provide up-to-date reporting on issues relating to SEVIS process, serve as a Designated School Official (DSO) and coordinate seamless transition from application to enrollment stages for international students.
* Must be willing to travel extensively, to travel between both NY campuses, and to work nights and weekends and support on-campus recruitment events, including Open Houses, Admitted Student Days, Information Sessions, etc.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 or more years of proven experience in international admissions or recruitment are required.
    * Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational and prioritizing skills as well as superior attention to detail
    * Must demonstrate the ability to build relationships with stakeholders as it relates to international recruitment, including feeder schools, educational agencies and external organizations.
    * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; experience working in student information systems (Peoplesoft) and customer relationship management systems (Slate).
    * Must demonstrate ability to build and maintain a team environment, committed to cross functional development
    * Commitment to integrity in the admissions process, and experience working with diverse cultures is strongly preferred.
    * Candidate must be a US citizen or a permanent resident to serve as a Designated School Official.

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.

Minimum Salary USD $70,000.00/Yr. Maximum Salary USD $72,000.00/Yr.
