** Hyatt Regency Schaumburg Full-Time Front Desk Supervisor**

**POSITION PURPOSE:** Assists Front Desk Management with overseeing all Front Office Operations to insure profitability, control costs and quality standards to insure total guest satisfaction. Supervises front desk staff and assists with greeting guests, checking guests in and out, handling guest requests and complaints, and handling group check-ins. - Assists in check in/ check out of guests or any related guest service activity.

- Performs manual and computer posting of transactions; handles money, credit cards, and checks.

- Deals with guest concerns. Provides directions and answers guest questions.

- Performs additional duties or projects as assigned by Front Office Manager.

An integral part of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburgs success will be attributed to this position with a hands on approach to guest satisfaction and service team stewardship that will dictate first and lasting impressions people have of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

- Supervises front desk staff, reservations, and bell staff as needed.

- Supports training of front desk staff on hotel policies, practices and procedures.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**

- Previous front desk experience required.

- Good communication, math skills, and problem solving abilities.

- Supervisory and organizational skills.

- Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time.

- Ability to multi-task.

- Meet deadlines for assignments and projects.
