POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of all public spaces, thereby upholding the high standards of quality expected at our esteemed establishment. The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is a premium hotel catering to a sophisticated clientele who appreciate value without compromise.
This position plays a crucial role in the overall success of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, as it directly influences guest satisfaction and the quality of service provided by our team, creating lasting impressions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain cleanliness in all assigned public and back-of-house areas; perform deep cleaning tasks that cannot be conducted during operational hours.
- Report any suspicious activities or hazardous conditions to the Loss Prevention department.
- Notify the appropriate office regarding any floor or carpet care needs and repairs.
- Assist fellow Housekeeping staff as directed.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with stain removal techniques and cleaning chemicals, as well as the operation of various floor cleaning equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform job functions with minimal supervision.
- Basic proficiency in English to understand safety labels and instructions.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Physical endurance to perform manual labor tasks.
- Capability to work effectively under pressure.
