Randleman Senior Center Director

The Center Director provides direct access to resources and a variety of programs for seniors, outreach and education to the community regarding the concerns of seniors, and advocacy on their behalf. Someone who can ensure smooth operations of the senior center and related operations by following local, state, and federal guidelines. This person must supervise and coordinate center staff and volunteers, ensure outstanding service is delivered to seniors attending the center, and support RSAA's mission and vision statement.
Some of the essential duties and responsibilities:
Develop and implement the monthly calendar of events and activities.
Recruitment, training, and maintain a volunteer base.
Submit monthly reports to the Nutrition Director.
Order meals.
Communicate with the Nutrition Director regarding all programs and services.
Maintains a positive working relationship with local businesses, service agencies, churches, and other non-profits to promote the agency's mission.
Compliance with policies and procedures for Senior Center Certification (Scope).
Maintains and submits reports according to Federal and State Standards.
Assists with and promotes special events and fundraisers, such as Volunteer Recognition.
Supervises Assistant Director, NCBA trainees, and volunteers; creates training and development plans.
Represent the Senior Center locally, advocate for seniors, and conduct at least two annual presentations to clubs and organizations.
Completes at least 15 hours of required training according to certification standards.
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent, have at least two years' experience working with seniors, have current CPR and First Aid certification, or be willing to be certified. You must have a valid NC driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
