This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual will be responsible for handling incoming calls, greeting visitors, assisting with ongoing projects, maintaining paperwork and records, managing transfer station metrics, quality checking paperwork, creating purchase orders, and more. This role is onsite and is based in Baltimore, Maryland. Essential Responsibilities: Professionally handle incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments, and take messages as necessary. Warmly welcome visitors, candidates, and employees as they enter the office, assisting them with initial inquiries or directions. Collaborate with various departments to provide administrative support for ongoing projects, including data entry, document preparation, and research tasks. Maintain paperwork copies and files as required and per regulatory requirements. Maintain records and ensure compliance for state agencies. Assist in data entry for job paperwork in the office. Daily update and manage transfer station metrics (incoming and outgoing waste tracker) and RMW metrics. QA/QC incoming paperwork, upload onto the share drive, and organize documents. Create purchase orders for office and facility supplies. Perform other duties as delegated by the Facility Manager. Basic Requirements: Eagerness to learn about the Environmental Health & Safety field. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to multitask and be detail-oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively. Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
