Position Overview:

Our client is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Estimator specializing in commercial interiors. This critical role calls for a professional with a sharp eye for detail who can provide precise and competitive estimates, ensuring the smooth execution of high-profile projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead the estimation process for commercial interior projects from conceptual stages to final bid submission. Conduct thorough site visits to assess existing conditions and identify potential challenges. Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure all project specifications are met. Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets, leveraging extensive industry knowledge and experience. Analyze project requirements and provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs. Utilize advanced estimation software and tools to create accurate and comprehensive estimates. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality work. Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with client expectations. Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide insights and recommendations based on estimates. Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect any changes or adjustments.

Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on large commercial interior projects. Proven track record of successfully estimating and delivering complex commercial interior projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and clients. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
