Position Overview: Our client is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Estimator specializing in commercial interiors. This critical role calls for a professional with a sharp eye for detail who can provide precise and competitive estimates, ensuring the smooth execution of high-profile projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the estimation process for commercial interior projects from conceptual stages to final bid submission.
  • Conduct thorough site visits to assess existing conditions and identify potential challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure all project specifications are met.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets, leveraging extensive industry knowledge and experience.
  • Analyze project requirements and provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs.
  • Utilize advanced estimation software and tools to create accurate and comprehensive estimates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality work.
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide insights and recommendations based on estimates.
  • Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect any changes or adjustments.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on large commercial interior projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully estimating and delivering complex commercial interior projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
