** Position Description**

**Software Support Specialist** Location **NC - Sanford** Job Code **393** # of Openings **1** The specialist will work with our team to install, configure and maintain the companys business applications. The specialist will recommend and evaluate improvements to applications and troubleshoot user issues to meet current and future business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

* Manage applications helpdesk queue and assigned helpdesk tickets

* Provide phone and chat support for users running MS Office Pro, Outlook, and custom web and Android mobile applications

* Maintain security of information.

* Create, implement, and train staff on features and technologies

* Create documentation for the setup/configuration of applicable systems, processes, and user support

* Grow with Company as the Specialist w orks with IT team and consultants to make recommendations to management concerning application upgrades. Assist with integration of current and new software, and new technology, with existing programs.

* Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Skills, Experience, and/or Education Required :

* Minimum High School diploma, preferred Associate degree in Computer Science or related field and one year of experience supporting hardware and software applications

* Ability to work after hours and weekends in order to support occasional scheduled maintenance and upgrades

* Ability to systematically troubleshoot technology devices.

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and Android phones

* Experience utilizes MDM software a plus

* Good organizational skills

* Ability to communicate effectively with all users, both verbally and written, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude

* Regular attendance in office required

* Attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to maintain confidential information
