This position is directly responsible for the management and accountability of the administration of the full accounting cycle, ensuring application of sound accounting principles and practices, following the direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Senior Vice President and Vice President appointed over Assist in preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and supporting financial information including; properties rebill and miscellaneous invoices allocations for rebills, bank account, allocation for rebills, post prepaid expenses, end-of-month bank reconciliations for CHR Operating, Insurance, and Canadian accounts, processing commission invoices based on management fee collections, allocation of expenses to corresponding properties for rebills, and maintain active/disposed properties filings Prepare daily journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations along with research/reconciliation balance sheet accounts, updating balance sheet file, review and posting all batches/journals entered by CHR accounting staff Assist in prepare and analysis of monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and management reports accurately and in a timely manner Record and maintain fixed asset purchases and applicable depreciation and amortization schedules Prepare variance analysis to budget and forecast Support in compilation of annual and periodic budget information Employee expense report processing Assist in meeting Tax Compliance including, Annual Corporate Tax Filings and Monthly Sales Tax Filings Maintain State and Local required licensing for all Crescent entities Prepare and reconcile quarterly Canadian Good and Service Tax entries Reconcile all corporate banking transactions Perform daily routines and month end procedures Manage the accounting for accounts receivable and payables Respond to various queries and requests from external/internal auditors Ensure GAAP are being adhered to appropriately Required to understand, guide and implement effective internal controls to meet Sarbanes Oxley requirements Any other directives as assigned by your supervisors We offer a robust compensation package with includes industry leading benefits and bonus plans An exceptional benefit plan for eligible associates & your family members 401K matching program for eligible associates Discounts with our Crescent managed properties in North America for you & your family members Qualifications

This position is based out of Crescent's corporate office in Fairfax, VA and operates on a hybrid schedule. Candidates must reside in Northern Virginia and/or Maryland.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education & Experience: • A minimum of 5-8 years of related progressive experience in accounting and finance, or related field. • College degree in Accounting in related field preferred. • Prior hospitality experience preferred.
