Position: Pediatric Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Experience Required:
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of dialysis experience.
  • Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
  • Hemodialysis (HD) experience required; Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) experience preferred.
Work Schedule:
  • 3x 12-hour shifts per week.
  • Minimum 5 overnight on-call shifts per month, with 1 to 2 being weekend 24-hour on-call shifts.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 Saturday morning shifts per month for patients needing extra treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality dialysis care to pediatric patients.
  • Monitor and manage patients during dialysis treatments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on dialysis care and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid RN license in Washington, D.C.
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on dialysis care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
