Job Overlay
Coupled with a lucrative equity/bonus package, this position will accelerate the career path of the chosen candidate. This position will report to the Corp Controller. Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for driving month-end and assisting with physical inventory . This position has upward mobility and will oversee mutliple team members.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day financial and accounting operations, including GL, and Inventory
Oversee SEC and Global Tax team and initiatives
Perform accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports; accounts payable, receivable and assist in improvements of policies and procedures.
Consolidated financial reporting.
Prepares, reviews or approves account reconciliations for corporation’ s entities and accounts, as required
Management of monthly and annual financial reporting and annual financial and 401K audits.
Manage corporate taxes (with outsourced vendor) and ensure compliance with sales/use/other tax requirements and filings
Qualifications
3+ years of Big 4 or Mid-Tier public audit/reporting experience
4+ years working at a publicly traded company
Technical accounting skillset with advanced knowledge of SEC/GAAP regulations
Combo background (preferred)
Active CPA license
Advanced knowledge of Excel
