Business Development Representative

1 year in a sales development/business development function or relevant work experience
Experience in using a CRM for managing customer/client information
Ability to meet a sales through general sales techniques and retention
Resilience and creativity in response to rejection
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A knack for making connections and gaining the trust of others
Ability to make Good time management skills and able to input/review data with a high level of accuracy
A customer-focused approach - you thrive on solving customer problems
Outstanding ability to prioritize work and tasks; attention to detail and excellent follow-through
Intellectual curiosity and a high propensity for self-development and learning
The ability to self-motivate - the BDR role can be unstructured
Your success will be depend on your ability to hold yourself accountable to getting the job done
A positive attitude and high degree of persistence and tenacity
Amenable to working US hours and flexibility to work on weekends if necessary
Responsibilities
Lead outreach to defined prospect list and create your own leads from competitors
Personalize communication to these leads
Comfortable with researching prospects and writing short, 5 bullet emails
Perform cold call over the phone as needed
Help our lead seller meet and exceed sales targets
Build prospect lists, sales pipelines and research prospects to send a personalized note
Follow up and build rapport with prospects
Research what advertisers are running with our competitors
Create or update customer records on the CRM system
Identify key decision makers within new accounts
Perform administrative duties, such as: Follow up on all client production orders and problem-solve any issues that may ariseo; Maintaining organized and up-to-date records of clients and sales activity
Background/knowledge on outlining process
