GET PAID TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN KIDS' LIVES The Chico Area Recreation & Park District is searching for energetic, responsible individuals who are serious about having fun We have part time, flexible jobs that are perfect for college students or anyone who has experience and is interested in making a difference in kids' lives.
After School Program Recreation Leaders will assist children in grades 1-5 with academics, plan and facilitate structured activities, and create a safe and fun environment. We are looking for applicants who enjoy and have experience working with children, are energetic, positive role models, responsible, and have strong group management skills. Applicants must be able to work independently with a group of 15 children and ensure their wellbeing.
Employment Dates: The Fall 2024 semester runs August 19 through December 20, 2024. Employees have the opportunity to return for following semesters.
Schedule: Work hours are Monday through Friday from 2:00-6:00 pm. We are currently hiring for permanent and substitute positions. To be hired as a substitute, you are not required to be available every day.
Work Locations: After School Programs are located at elementary schools in Chico.
Pay: The pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Employees will receive 40 hours of sick time each year.
