The primary aim of this initiative is to assist residents in sustaining stable living conditions, achieving long-term aspirations, enhancing their overall quality of life, and fostering a sense of community. Programs are executed by our dedicated staff in collaboration with local organizations and volunteers. The Resident Services initiative plays a vital role in advancing our mission to uplift the lives of our residents. Our vision is to cultivate secure, sustainable communities that promote the physical and mental wellness of our residents. This program collaborates closely with our Property Management, Asset Management, and Rental Housing Development sectors.
Ideal Candidates Should Possess
- A strong commitment to affordable housing, community development, and our organizational mission.
- Skills in group facilitation and the capacity to navigate group dynamics effectively.
- The ability to foster community engagement at our properties by motivating resident involvement in programs, services, and volunteer activities.
- Experience in recruiting resident volunteers to take on leadership roles within their communities as Volunteer Activity Coordinators.
- A background in program development and execution.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
A Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate
- The capability to assess challenges and devise solutions within established frameworks.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish.
- The willingness to travel across our service areas.
Qualifications and Educational Background
- A high school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Preferred completion of college-level coursework in a relevant discipline.
- Personal lived experience is considered an asset.
- Possession of a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and the ability to meet insurance requirements as set by our liability provider.
