Job Title
Tier II Support Representative

The Tier 2 Support Specialist is responsible for gateway support tasks throughout each of our merchant channels. The Tier 2 Support Specialist must be able to articulate technology support processes to sales partners, software integrators, merchants, and internal staff. Team members must be able to proactively manage support tasks and communication for Fiserv's CardConnect payment gateway, while also providing internal support for Tier 1 Operations teams.

The team's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Production Integration support for ISV, Enterprise, and SMB channels, product support and enhancement escalations for CardPointe, the CardConnect Gateway, and CoPilot. This includes software integration oversight and development collaboration with integrators.

The team also manages Operations involvement in 24/7 emergency response, and after-hours gateway support.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Gateway support for both production and UAT environments
  • ISV, Enterprise, and SMB production Integration support and management
  • Expertise in both token-based and card-present processing, focused on CardSecure and Bolt product suites
  • Provide communication between Operations and Technology teams, offering clear guidance between both channels
  • Work as part of a rotational 24/7 structure to monitor and identify gateway issues, initiating and managing emergency responses
  • Provide education to Operations teams on new products and gateway workflows, assisting in building our organization wide support structures
  • Monitor Settlement processes and provide support for daily funding jobs
  • Perform Data Import/Export (tokenization) tasks for expanding merchant base
  • Work with Partners and Merchants to vet and identify feature enhancements
  • MySQL/Oracle Database Management tasks and updates for Terminal, Gateway, and Application databases
Skills and Experience
  • Integrated payments experience is required
  • Comfort in a dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
  • Excellent Communication skills both internally and externally, cognizant of partner/sales relationships and account retention
  • Technically proficient, with understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) required
  • Proficient with the following: Microsoft Office, MySQL, Oracle DB, and JSON-based, RESTful APIs
