For our CyberX group, the “Senior Risk Expert” is an essential front-line role that works every day to plan and execute the Information Security plan for new and innovative business organizations as they positively disrupt the traditional retail space and help Walmart deliver on its core enterprise initiatives. The Senior Risk Expert in this role will have tremendous access and opportunities to influence Leaders, Management and Peers in the fields of technology and cybersecurity. At any given time, we have a portfolio of 20-30 businesses where we actively advise and counsel on cybersecurity and the protection of data, systems and other business assets. What you'll do: Reporting to the Group Director of CyberX (M&A for InfoSec), you will be a key contributor to the assessment of business organizations and groups that are new to the Walmart technology ecosystem and corporate environment. As such, you will have significant daily interaction and impact with these organizations as we help them mature their cybersecurity posture and overall program – all while enabling them to securely service customers and internal teams reliant on their technology innovations. You’ll make an impact by: Being responsible for the assessment of the current state of cybersecurity at in-scope businesses; Working hand-in-hand with the businesses to plan and execute on a cybersecurity strategy and roadmap to ensure the protection of those businesses, the Walmart environment, and Customers; Being a Servant Leader in the area with an understanding of both Business Goals and Cybersecurity Goals and how to influence, negotiate and achieve success across that landscape perspective; Successfully build relationships with Tech/InfoSec peers but also gaining the trust of the business units; and Working across teams and pillars to bring understanding, transparency, and visibility to combined business and cybersecurity positions, strategies, and prioritized roadmaps (and reporting on success or opportunities). What you'll bring:
