Overview:
GovCIO is currently seeking a

Senior Logistics Operations Expert (Maintenance) to provide support in logistics management.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive inspections of logistics operations in accordance with regulatory standards.
Evaluate maintenance processes, identify shortcomings, propose corrective measures, and communicate findings to senior management while continuously assessing unit capabilities and performance.
Assist in ensuring adherence to established policies, plans, and objectives outlined in maintenance regulatory guidelines.

Compile, analyze, and present data to support the annual Department of the Army Award for Maintenance Excellence (AAME) Competition.

Utilize creativity, sound judgment, and innovative approaches to fulfill assigned maintenance responsibilities.
Provide detailed guidance to maintenance management personnel at the Logistics Readiness Centers (LRC) involved in maintenance operations.

Act as a liaison with personnel and activities engaged in maintenance management to resolve issues and offer advice to the Maintenance Office or other supported organizations on matters requiring decisions.

Review and interpret data from Maintenance Management Information Systems to gather necessary information for reports and presentations.
Assist in the preparation of documents and briefings (including those for senior leadership) for maintenance-related studies.
Assess maintenance challenges, trends, and needs; advise management if supervisory actions are warranted.

Review and provide insights on all relevant Department of Defense (DOD), Army, and maintenance regulations, policies, and directives.

Stay informed about logistics concepts, programs, and significant changes in logistics systems that may impact maintenance operations.

Advise LRCs of procedures or initiatives that do not align with approved maintenance management policies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience)

Required Skills and Experience

Clearance Required:
Secret

Minimum of Senior Level experience with a Bachelor's degree and 10-12 years of experience.

This position demands expertise focused on analyzing the customer's business objectives and the broader business environment to address logistical challenges.

Advanced knowledge and experience with Organizational Inspection Program Management Systems, Individual Staff Inspections, and Command Maintenance Discipline Program Inspection.

Proficient written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to compose and prepare responses for government approval/signature is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, is necessary. Must possess senior-level experience to coach, teach, and mentor personnel in relevant functional areas. In-depth knowledge of Army logistics policies, principles, procedures, regulations, material integration, and maintenance readiness is required. Proficiency in using GCSS-A and Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) is expected.

Experience with Government Regulations, AR 750-1, and DA Pam is necessary. This position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 60% of the time, including site visits and inspections.

Posted Pay Range


The posted pay range reflects the expected range for this position at the commencement of employment; however, base pay offered may vary based on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.

If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position," and GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

USD $75, USD $78,043.68 /Yr.
