  • Apply high-level DFAM and CAD skills to internal concepts and applications to demonstrate DFAM principles and ensure successful implementation.
  • Manage research and development (R&D) projects to evaluate, characterize, and validate new materials, additive technologies, post-processing solutions, design and analysis tools related to producing parts with additive manufacturing.
  • Develop and produce design, application, and other technical guides and reference documents.

  • Strong understanding of conventional manufacturing methods such as machining, sheet metal fabrication, casting and molding and the associated advantages and limitations relative to AM. Technical knowledge of additive manufacturing processes, applications, and design is also desirable.
  • Demonstrated high level 3D CAD skills and experience in Solidworks, NX, AutoCAD CATIA, or similar solid modeling programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to independently organize and prioritize multiple tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Must be creative, self-motivated, and able to work effectively on projects with minimal direct supervision.
