Job Description

It has never been a better time to join Farm Credit of Florida. We are seeking to hire a Loan Specialist to join the Palatka FL branch team.

In this role, you will deliver an outstanding customer experience through collaboration and teamwork within the branch location to meet the needs of the customers. you will support the sales/lending staff throughout the loan process, including data input, preparing, and verifying loan disclosures, closing documents, loan treatments, and other- time sensitive information prior to loan closing. After closing, you will be responsible for securing collateral liens, monitoring loan servicing tasks, and initiating the liquidation process when a loan pays off.

You will ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, professional service and ensure daily accounting activities are handled properly, accurately, and timely, such as processing incoming payments, making deposits, and disbursing loan funds. In addition, you will provide administrative support to the daily operations of the branch location.

Requirements for this position include loan processing or banking experience with excellent customer service skills, outstanding verbal communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of personnel both internally and externally, excellent organizational skills, and detailed oriented.

Strong competencies in Microsoft Office are also required along with a minimum of two years of banking/financial experience and administrative experience in a customer -centric environment. Professional appearance and strong work ethics are essential.
