Job Description Summary
The Shared Systems Training Facilitator plays a vital role in helping Wyclifffe accomplish its Bible translation mission by ensuring effective training in use of Workday for Human Resources staff among our Partner Organizations. This person will conduct needs analysis, development of teaching material and conduct training sessions. The training facilitator will also be responsible for system troubleshooting and quality assurance testing in order to ensure proper functioning and understanding of processes and creating any necessary communications and training materials for customers as well as the Global Shared Systems Team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Faithfully and regularly pray for the ongoing work of Bible translation and for unreached people groups around the world.
  • Act as an organizational representative presenting the global ministry of Wycliffe and encouraging interested individuals, organizations and churches to participate in the work of Bible translation. Participate in needs analysis studies to determine training needs within Partner Organizations.
  • Facilitate the development of teaching material such as Knowledge Based Articles, Workday Learning modules, workshop presentations, and material for other training methods such as video conferences.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions covering end user experiences and troubleshooting in the shared system.
  • Develop and track individualized training programs from beginner to advanced learning to ensure HR staff have the knowledge necessary to effectively serve their organization's staff and manage projects.
  • Report on assessment of training needs and progress.
  • Facilitate any necessary revision of training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness.
  • Communicate system changes, updates, and reminders to stakeholders.
  • Conduct system troubleshooting to assist customers with system and user errors.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and documentation for new and existing processes in the shared system.
  • Assess and resolve Tier 2 tickets/cases and serve as backup for Tier 1.
  • Serve as backup for the Customer Support and Data Integrity Specialist as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by HCM Business Manager.
Member Responsibilities: The following responsibilities apply to any employee who is also a member of Wycliffe:
  • Partnership Development:Build and retain a team of prayer and financial partners that will sustain them during their entire Wycliffe ministry according to the Wycliffe Partnership Development policy.
  • Organizational Representative: Present the global ministry of Wycliffe and encourage interested individuals and churches to participate in the work of Bible translation.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience training staff via online platforms; Zoom, Google Meets, Huddle, etc.
  • Nonprofit ministry volunteer or work experience is beneficial.
