The role of a Maintenance Engineer will provide maintenance, electric, and hydraulic engineering services and support.

The main missions of the role are to:
  • Ensures that the facility's equipment and machines are maintained properly and working correctly.
  • Oversees the facility's maintenance program; identifies and analyzes equipment or machinery failures and takes corrective actions.
  • Provides technical training to management and other team members.
  • Coordinates work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
  • Conducts research and development investigations to improve existing and new fabrications and proceedures.
  • Investigates and tests to improve existing or new welding equipment, develop new or modify current welding methods , techniques or proceedures.
  • Develop and implement prevenitive maintenance programs for the machines.
  • Directs and coordinates technical personel in performing inspections to insure worker compliance with established procedures.
  • Contacts other engineering personel to exchange ideas , exchange ideas or offer technical advice concerning maintenance matters.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Welding, Mechanical, Industrial or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an Welding Engineer in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Certification in a Welding standard such as ASME BPVE VIII or ASME/AWS-CWI or ASME CWI/E helpful but not required.
