Accounting Manager Dallas, TX - 3 days in office per week One of Vaco's PE Backed clients has engaged in a search to find a Regional Accounting Manager to support their office here in Dallas. This is a blended role between supporting day-to-day accounting and business support for operations and the field Company offers - 401k match up to 6% - Regular bonus payouts over target (last year paid out at over 150%) - Great culture and supportive leadership, "this is the best CEO I've ever worked for" Day-to-day Coordinate and oversee the month-end and year-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide management with accurate and timely financial information for decision-making. Lead and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional development and ensure high-quality work. Stay current with accounting regulations, standards, and industry trends to recommend and implement best practices and process improvements. Scoping out KPI's and tying results into the financial reporting Ad hoc analysis for new projects including CapEx requests and justification Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting Professional designation preferred(CPA or CMA) 5+ years of finance/accounting experience Construction materials experience a plus Demonstrated ability in financial/business analysis Must have a strategic business focus and ability to anticipate future consequences and trends accurately GAAP knowledge This position will be based out of our Dallas, TX office Vaco values a diverse workplace and strongly encourages women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, foreign-born residents, and veterans to apply.
