Licensure:
  • Nurse, Licensed Practical (LPN) OR Nurse, Registered (RN) OR Social Worker, Clinical


Education/Experience Required:
  • LPN or RN or SW plus 3 years' relevant clinical experience. Bachelor's degree preferred


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
  • Strong human relations, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Good communication skills. Presentation and group facilitating skills. Competent personal computer knowledge and Microsoft products Critical thinking skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Current Illinois RN or LPN or SW license


Physicial Requirements and Working Conditions:
  • Ability to recognize the needs and behaviors of specific age groups of adult learners. Resiliency and flexibility to deal with a changing environment. Demonstrates leadership and motivational skills Ability to travel to various Advocate Health Care facilities and various times of the day/evening. Ability to move patients and equipment up to 30 lbs. Ability to cooperate and work well with others. Ability to make sound and timely decisions.
  • IfAbility to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For over 35 pounds,handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
