So what do we do for our clients? Well, first and foremost we build accounting departments from the ground up. We clean up the books, institute internal controls, train the current staff, develop custom reporting, hold strategy sessions with the owners and much, much more. And we do all of it for about half of what a full time controller would cost.

Now that you know what we do, here’s what we’re looking for:
We are hiring a senior-level staffaccountant that is not afraid to be creative and to innovate. Please don't apply if you're someone who needs to follow a script or enjoys doing the same type of work every day. Sure, we have processes and procedures like any accounting firm, but your job will not be to follow them, it will be to improve them. The position will require someone who is driven to provide results for his/her client. This is a fast-pacedfirm. We don't bill by the hour, so if you're someone who really likes to take their timethis isn't the placefor you. However, if you like making a real difference for your clients, you'll fit right in.
Some specific responsibilities include:
Reviewing source documents such as bank and credit card statements
Entering source data into QuickBooks Online
Reconciling accounts in QuickBooks Online
Preparing client reports and statements
Entering and reviewing payroll
A well-qualified candidate will befamiliar with QuickBooks Online, have experience with payroll, be very proficient with MicrosoftOffice,and be comfortable with technology (including Microsoft Teams and various other web-based applications).
Finally, whilethis is aStaff Accountant Position,the ideal candidate will not be happy in this position long term. We have a training curriculum available and advancement happens as quickly as you can show competence.
