Key Responsibilities: General Ledger Maintenance: Prepare and maintain general ledger entries. Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions. Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and collection of receivables. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual expenses against budgets and report variances. Audit and Compliance: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory filings. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting procedures. Special Projects: Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy.
