Job responsibilities
  • Assist in developing standard sizing techniques for specific products.
  • Assist our global sales division in support for our thickening product lines.
  • Assist in the transfer and training of product info.
  • Help build a culture of innovation and continuous product improvement.
  • May suggest or participate in R&D projects for product improvement.
  • Assist in product development by defining deliverables and setting priorities.
  • Assist in developing sales aids such as brochures, technical data, and catalogs.
  • Evaluate proposal risks in areas of warranty, terms and conditions, delivery, and product configuration.
  • Provide field sales support in such activities as specification review, customer presentation, and product application and sizing.
What you bring
  • Education- BS Mechanical / Metallurgical / Chemical Engineer degree or similar.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the following: ability to interpret contracts, specifications, and drawings (academic experience applicable).
  • Diversity to the team.
  • Some knowledge of marketing, bidding, and pricing techniques.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally, and in writing, on a technical level and make formal presentations.
  • Must be proficient with personal computer, using company-standard software.
  • Requires some prior experience or exposure to skills with planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
