This Sr Researcher role is essential to the ongoing development of processes and equipment for the ongoing R&D projects in Precious Metals Recovery. This position is one of high impact, visibility, and engagement with GPLM /PLM and various customer partners involved with developing the next generation of process and equipment solutions for the concentration and recovery of Gold, Silver, and other precious metals.The Sr Metallurgist is both researcher and project manager for their own projects. Organizes and develops project opportunities in conjunction with GPLM for Precious Metals, engineering, and other stakeholders. ResponsibilitiesEnsures that research and development methodologies meet established scientific and engineering standardsProvides input to business plans and budgets for product developmentAnalyses quality/safety test results to ensure compliance with internal and external standardsMonitors product development outcomes to ensure technical, functional, cost, and timing targetsContributes to the development of solutions to complex technical challenges and leads research and development evaluations, designing and providing recommendations for stakeholders.
