This position is accountable for booking multi-day Corporate Meetings business on an established base of accounts, while

managing/converting

high potential prospects and uncovering new business.

Essential Responsibilities:

Individuals in this position are seasoned sales professionals working on top producing accounts in the following fashion:

Determine and recommend prospective customers by analyzing historical and other statistical information (market segment), participating in conducting customer interviews and preparing customer call analysis reports.

Solicit accounts for meeting and catering business directly and jointly with others through the preparation and execution of action plans.

Within established parameters, quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives sending proposals, drawing up License Agreements to be signed by the customer, with approval of Director of Sales & Marketing.

Upon closing, coordinate and follow up with event manager to ensure delivery of superior customer service.

Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reports as required by Director of Catering/Director of Sales & Marketing.

As directed, compile and input market intelligence information into Sales Force.

Attend weekly meetings as directed.

As directed, participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events within the Center, the industry and customer organizations. The ability to Travel for multiple days to events or on sales missions.

Achieve individual revenue goals by quarter and annually.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Three years Hospitality meeting sales experience

Sales Force experience preferred

Microsoft Office

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
