Teradek is seeking a highly skilled Director of Sales to join our Live Production business and drive the development of new opportunities for our cutting-edge IP video products and solutions throughout North America. As the Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by spearheading various key responsibilities. Your primary tasks will include identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities, strategizing and implementing effective business plans, nurturing customer relationships, achieving business objectives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales engineers, support operations, and marketing to streamline the sales process. Your contribution will be instrumental in driving our growth and success in the broadcast and live event markets. A typical day might include the following: Drive the development and expansion of new business opportunities for Teradek IP video products and solutions within the United States. Engage directly with end customers and collaborate with partners to maximize sales potential. Formulate and execute strategies to enhance business growth and market presence. Generate demand through impactful webinars, presentations, and roadshows that highlight the company's solutions. Take the lead in driving short-term revenue while establishing long-term strategic relationships with customers. Conduct product demonstrations and prepare bids to showcase the value and capabilities of Teradek IP video solutions. Collaborate effectively with other departments to provide product support and leverage technical expertise as needed. Requirements: Qualified candidates must have Minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience within the technology market in North America. Strong background in the Broadcast industry is required. In-depth knowledge and expertise in market segments related to live video streaming, live event production, and cloud video platforms. Direct experience with video encoders, bonded cellular products, and wireless video solutions is highly desired. Proven track record of achieving sales goals and effectively developing new business opportunities. Strong technical acumen with the ability to demonstrate complex solutions and discuss technical features to potential clients. Exhibit exceptional verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills in English. Embrace an independent, self-driven, and creative mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach. Ability and willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and explore business prospects.
