We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health Organization: PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation CAD Position Overview: Oversees the day-to-day operations and activities performed by Patient Access/Front Desk staff. Responsible for customer service, consistent with Sutter Health's mission, values, and vision. Collaborates with staff and leadership within the organization to drive standard processes and ensure consistency of practices as well as continuous process improvement within the Patient Access department. Makes decisions in a fast-paced, fluid environment; actively collaborates with leadership and staff within defined service level agreements. Will support multiple locations within the South Bay locations. Job Description: EDUCATION: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Bachelor's: Business Administration, Healthcare or related field. TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 8 years recent relevant experience. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of third-party regulations and requirements, managed care concepts and current practices. Familiarity with Federal/State and JCAHO requirements for registration. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as having verbal and written communications skills. Leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others. Demonstrates tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills, and is able to develop plans to accomplish objectives, identify obstacles and resolve operational issues. Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service and achieving business results. Job Shift: Varied Schedule: Full Time Shift Hours: 8 Days of the Week: Monday - Friday Weekend Requirements: As Needed Benefits: Yes Unions: No Position Status: Exempt Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Status: Regular Pay Range: $50.32 to $75.48 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs.
