Greenfield is looking for a Product Manager to join our growing team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for growth markets with a focus on life sciences, in alignment with the overall business growth strategy. This role will require the technical aptitude needed to identify new opportunities, differentiate existing product lines, and articulate end-user applications. You will identify where Greenfield can play a unique role in the supply chain based on current capabilities and you will propose new capabilities based on market needs and alignment with business strategy. The Product Manager will serve as a technical expert and resource for internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales & Quality, and will report directly to the VP of Sales & Distribution.

Your Experience Should Include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or equivalent degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or product management in the Life Sciences industry or related.
  • Strong technical background in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or Cell and Gene Therapy required.
  • Experience in chemicals, biopharma, diagnostics, gene therapy, medical devices a plus.
  • Proven success delivering products/services that are innovative, client-centric, and have met or exceeded business goals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; clearly conveying complex concepts and information to both technical and non-technical audiences within and outside the organization, in both live presentation and written forms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex requirements and translate into actionable steps and impactful product concepts and features.
  • Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of end markets, product uses, customer requirements and identify opportunities where Greenfield can offer solutions to meet customer challenges.
  • Generate insights and in-depth analysis on life science markets, competitive forces and key customers by region.
  • Drive the creation and execution of global market and product strategies by synthesizing customer needs into product concepts, functional requirements, and feature roadmaps.
  • Own tactical aspects of product lifecycle management, including product performance analysis, pricing & discounting policies, and product evolution or discontinuation.
  • Create and maintain a clear product roadmap (1-3 years) that outlines the product vision, key features, and timeline.
  • Support the roadmap by developing business cases and monitor results through pre-determined KPIs.
  • Drive pre- and post-launch New Product Introduction (NPI) projects with cross-functional teams (including Marketing, Operations, Quality and Commercial) to deliver committed results on time and within budget and escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Define product requirements including specifications, packaging, quality level, pack size and regulatory needs.
  • Manage the product release plans with detailed schedules, phases, milestones, and launch dates.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for the development of content for internal & external communication channels and identify opportunities for marketing campaigns.
  • Responsible for meeting gross profit growth targets as defined by business cases and measured through KPI's and OKR's.
  • Develop and lead product training to Sales and sites, serving as the subject matter expert for existing and new product offerings.
  • Partner and collaborate with Global Product Marketing Manager on project implementation and execution.
