Commercial Support Associate - Temporary
The Commercial Department team member will provide temporary support for SalesForce, Power BI – Sales Planning, as well as Export Business and L&A Global commercial activities.
Team member will work closely with the Sales Portal Manager and SFDC Implementation partners to assist in data cleanup, user setup, configuration, maintenance, user training, and support of the Salesforce platform.
Will collaborate with the Sales Planning and Business Intelligence Manager to support the creation and development of forecasting and sales reports and enhance Market Intelligence through in-depth analysis to improve data integrity.
Additionally, the team member will provide support to the Global Commercial Export Director in implementing the new commercial strategy with our distributor partners, as well as other Export Business and Commercial projects.
This temporary position is designed to provide valuable real-world experience in Salesforce administration, Power BI, Sales Planning, and commercial strategy tool execution and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in data entry, data import tasks, and data cleansing to maintain data accuracy and integrity in Salesforce. Clean up images and product specs on the portal using Gibson’s content management systems and operations.
Assist in providing support to Salesforce users, helping them with basic inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
Help create and customize reports and dashboards under the guidance of the CRM Manager.
Contribute to the maintenance of documentation related to Salesforce configurations and processes.
Participate in simple Salesforce configuration tasks, such as creating custom fields and page layouts.
Provide training sessions and workshops to the internal team to develop a fundamental understanding of Salesforce and its capabilities.
Power BI and Sales Planning:
Develop and analyze Forecasting vs. Order Book reports in SalesForce SPM.
Expand Market Intelligence capabilities through deep analysis to develop key incremental insights.
Monitor Power BI subscriptions and champion new subscriptions where applicable.
Drive data integrity of Customer Master data.
Support Available-to-Sell (ATS) analytics and distribution. Drive item master cleanup for data integrity.
Lead the build-out of NPI monitoring capabilities leveraging Power BI reports.
Export Business:
Implement and monitor new Export Business trade terms and pricing strategy with our global distributor partners.
Implement and monitor new distributor agreements with our global distributor partners.
Consolidate Export partners' business and marketing plans for the next fiscal year.
Support in the end-of-month Export Business Sales report creation and development.
Provide specific Export Business and commercial project support.
