Essential Functions:

  1. Developing and Executing Marketing Strategies: Designing comprehensive marketing plans to promote SWL products in alignment with overall business goals.
  2. Brand Positioning: Implementing strategies to establish SWL as a leading and preferred choice in the market.
  3. Content Creation: Creation of engaging and compelling content, including but not limited to, product collateral, website content, social media posts, and promotional materials.
  4. Campaign Management: Planning and executing targeted marketing campaigns with our distributors and customers to drive awareness and demand for SWL products. Support trade shows, customer onsite visits, media blasts and webinars.
  5. Market Research: Conducting regular market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with the sales, engineering, manufacturing, and other relevant teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
  7. Voice of the Customer: Working directly with our sales team, plan initiatives which may include surveying, focus groups and interview of our customer.
  8. Perform other duties as required.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive marketing communication plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong creative skills to develop engaging marketing content, campaigns, and collateral.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling and effective messaging across various channels, including web content, press releases, social media posts, and marketing materials.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, social media marketing, SEO, SEM, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in analyzing marketing metrics and data to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) software, and graphic design tools.
  • Limited travel required.
