Description

Essential Job Functions:
  • Provides support to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and/or General Ledger
  • Provides support to the corporate office and/or regional offices, as requested
  • Complies data, computes charges and prepares invoices for billing purposes
  • Prepares and reviews account reconciliation
  • Verifies accuracy of billing data and revises any errors
  • Maintains records and documentation through the accounting cycle as directed
  • Assists in the preparation of client invoices
  • Performs day to day administrative tasks associated with Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or 1-3 years General Accounting Technician Experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience with Sage/Intacct or Other Accounting Software Preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft products such as Excel, Word and Email
  • Project costing experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
  • Knowledge of current accounting, business and organizational practices
  • Knowledge of accounting theory and methods
  • Knowledge of mathematics and its applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong mathematical and organizational skills
  • Computer skills commensurate with program and job applications
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and get along with diverse personalities
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to attend training sessions, seminars and appropriate educational classes required by department
