We are searching for a Corporate Accounting Manager who will be responsible for directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions and ensuring accurate financial data for our rapidly growing client. This position will partner directly with the Director of Accounting and CFO in overseeing the accounting function and leading the accounting staff.

Essential Duties & Functions

  • Preparation of accurate financial statements and financial data
  • Streamlining of accounting systems and processes and documentation of accounting controls and processes
  • Review of monthly reconciliations, closing entries, and financial statements within 5 business days of month end
  • Staff development and employee training; and build positive supportive relationships with other employees
  • Compliance with bank covenant
  • Review covenant reporting biweekly.
  • Manage and account for internal incentive plan reporting.
  • Oversight of sales tax compliance and reporting.
  • Manage annual financial audit and biannual banking audits.
  • Point of contact for banking relationship.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience in a variety of functional areas of general accounting
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or the equivalent from an accredited university, CPA highly preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
