Senior Corporate Accountant

In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting our corporate accounting function.

Responsibilities:

Process monthly journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Prepare and reconcile various account reconciliations.

Manage fixed assets, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.

Assist with year-end close activities and preparation of work papers for audits and tax compliance.

Support the broader Corporate Accounting and Finance team with various tasks.

Follow established accounting procedures to maintain efficient and accurate financial reporting.

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks, meeting all deadlines.

Review service center accounting and ensure compliance with standards.

Prepare documentation for audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.

Manage incoming accounting mail and route it appropriately.

Implement new accounting policies and ensure adherence to regulations.

Generate routine and ad-hoc financial reports as needed by management.

Undertake special accounting projects.

Continuously improve internal controls and ensure accurate reporting according to GAAP.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a related accounting field (preferred).

Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.

Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with a strong ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.

Ability to proactively identify and develop solutions.
