What you'll do...

The Senior Manager of Brand Marketing will support the vision for how Walmart goes to market with conversations that engage and deliver for customers at the forefront of change. Think never been done before brand acts, campaigns and partnerships like the Mean Girls collab, RomCommerce, Break The Love Partnership, and Barbie’s Cart. Your priority will be developing and delivering strategies and campaigns that drive the brand and business, helping our customers see that we ‘get it’ and ‘get them,’ ultimately helping us grow lasting relationships that drive business opportunity. You’ll report to the Director of Brand Marketing, and will collaborate with other stakeholders across the org to create and implement bold narratives across the business, identifying connection points and pillars that build our relevancy and get customers to think, “Ok, I see you Walmart.” Aboutthe Brand Marketing Team: We are responsible for transforming perceptions and helping unite people in our shared pursuit of living better, from the big to the small. Our work shapes customer-centric programs that help build the business and the brand, alongside creating best in class advertising. We help show Walmart as a community leader at the forefront of change, showing up in modern ways that frame a cohesive conversation and experience for our customers.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if… You have written brand or marketing strategies and can create elevated, story-led briefs independently with minimal guidance. You can articulate complex or new ideas in a way that helps make the assignment simple, focused, yet inspiring. You are a ‘culture vulture’ who understands how to weave cultural and customer insights into the ask. You know the latest trends and conversations happening in the world. You have a track record of developing and managing programs or partnerships that engage customers in new ways through innovation, experiences, content, and retail commerce. You are highly collaborative and engaging others energizes you – you believe partners only make the work better even if it’s not the shortest path to completion. You’ll make an impact by: Driving all levels of strategy – brand narratives, go-to-market, campaign briefs – grounded in research and insights; build KPIs that track short- and long-term performance Lead select go-to-market conversations and day-to-day decision making across campaigns, tactics, and executions, both internally and with external brand partners Build relationships with stakeholders to create cross-functional efforts that deliver for the brand, the business, and the customer. Oversee and manage the day-to-day process of getting culture-forward programs to run smoothly Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 3 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 7 years' experience in marketing or related field.
