As a Principal Trainer you will work closely with the Training Manager, Epic, and program leadership to deliver high quality end-user training. You will be responsible for the development of curriculum and materials that will support the successful education of staff across the health system.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
•Maintains policy and procedure documentation.
•Designs, develops, and maintains instructional materials.
•Learns new content and consults with subject matter experts to develop training materials and answer any participant questions.
•Assists with building and testing of training environments, providing support, and troubleshooting issues.
•Prepares training lessons, printing materials, and setting up training room/environment prior to sessions.
•Manages projects by prioritizing and creating and adhering to timelines. •Serves as expert educator to internal staff.
•Develop role-based training content, independently or with team members using a variety of software programs, tools, and applications.
•Incorporates feedback from others into existing training.
•Collaborates with other trainers by co-facilitating classroom instruction and assisting with exercises as needed.
•Training and credentialing additional classroom trainers as needed.
•Understand the strategic initiatives of the system-wide AMHS training team, but not lose sight of the
detailed tasks.
•Foresee the needs of the teams and work to proactively address them.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare or IT related field Licensure. Must become Epic certified within the time outlined upon hire. Three years of relevant experience, project management, or curriculum design/delivery.
Salary Range: $31.84 - $52.27
Pay Grade: 33
Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to: overall experience and qualifications, shift, and location.
