Position Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies and functions with the overall business objectives of the company. This role will bridge the gap between HR and the business, helping to create a positive, productive, and compliant work environment that supports the company's overall strategic objectives.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business leaders and senior leadership to understand their business goals and objectives and provide strategic HR support to achieve them.
Act as a point of contact for employees and managers to address HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
Assist in the planning and execution of organizational changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, or other significant initiatives, by providing HR expertise and guidance.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with labor laws and regulations and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
Utilize HR analytics and data to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and provide insights to drive organizational performance and employee engagement.
Implement and manage performance appraisal processes and assist in setting performance objectives and development plans for employees.
Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and manage competitive compensation programs that attract and retain top talent.
Partner with HR peers to drive HR-related projects, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee engagement programs, or HR system implementations to align with company objectives.
Foster a positive workplace culture by implementing strategies to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
2-4 years’ experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR business partnering in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
Experience in various HR functions such as talent management, employee relations, and change management is preferred.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.
Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with the organization's overall business goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address complex HR issues.
Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use HR analytics to inform decision-making.
Experience in managing HR projects and initiatives effectively.
Expertise in managing organizational change and supporting employees through transitions.
Must be a strong collaborator and able to build relationships at all levels.
Professional HR certifications, such as PHR or SPHR, preferred.
