Join us at AstraZeneca as a Formulation Reliability Engineer in our Operations department. This is an exciting opportunity to accelerate our Lean journey and take advantage of the huge opportunities to drive efficiencies in our processes and produce better-quality outputs.

Accountabilities: As a Formulation Reliability Engineer, you will create, maintain, and review Formulation maintenance metrics to assess maintenance effectiveness and efficiency. You will drive enhancement based on KPI’s and develop adequate measures for continuous improvement. You will investigate equipment failures by utilizing and embedding RCA tools such as 5-Why, PPS, and Why-Tree templates and drive corrective actions. You will manage and optimize PET equipment Life Cycle Management in alignment with above-site processes and procedures. You will also assist in Master Planning Activities, own/support the risk management process for the PET, identify, organize, and present business cases as it relates to reliability initiatives to management, and act as a delegate for the Sr Maintenance Facilitator.

Essential Skills/Experience: - BS in Engineering with 6+ years in pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience - Practical experience applying TPM and Lean principles in a manufacturing environment - Self-starter Strong organization; Data driven; Effective problem solving approach and decision-making - Solid team work and communication /facilitation skills (oral and written) - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) - Strong verbal and written skills; influences others to act with full understanding - Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment; driving team and personal accountability - Ability to generate and interpret technical documents - Experienced in managing external technical relationships - Strong mechanical/technical aptitude

Desirable Skills/Experience: - Experienced in working or training in a LEAN manufacturing environment, specifically knowledge of TPM - Experience with SAP
