We are seeking a talented Automation Engineer II to join our team. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. This role operates in an agile development environment and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver iterative software solutions. What does an Automation Engineer do? Automated Test Script Development Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for various testing needs including Integration, Regression, and Performance testing. Troubleshoot and debug software defects identified during automated testing. Collaborate with developers to ensure product quality and address issues efficiently. Analyze and enhance existing test scripts to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Document and report test results to stakeholders. Manual Testing and Quality Assurance Conduct manual testing as necessary to complement automated testing efforts. Recommend and implement improvement plans to enhance quality compliance. Prepare quality assurance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. What is required? Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in writing (from scratch) and maintaining test scripts using Selenium and C# for test automation. Proficiency in SQL for database testing required. Experience with Source Control Management, preferably Git. Proficiency in C#, SpecFlow, Gherkin, and Selenium required. Strong proficiency in using Selenium WebDriver for automated testing required. Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery. Experience in API testing using tools like Postman is preferred. Skills and Abilities: Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Self-driven with a comprehensive understanding of Enterprise SDLC processes. Commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Willingness to work occasional weekends and extended hours as required. What else do you need to know?
