This client is an industry leader with regards to their employee benefits and consistently maintains good tenure across the company. They are primarily focused in the Southeast, with occasional projects in select states like VA and MA. The company, founded over 30 years ago, is extremely valued by their clients - company is largely repeat business oriented.

Description

Traveling Superintendent Duties:

  • Develop the Project Vision and Create the Project Schedule
  • Supervise entire construction staff, ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Ability to predict and overcome project challenges
  • Maintain a strong relationship with Project Managers
  • Lead weekly meetings to ensure the team is working together successfully and delivering quality work
  • Maintain OSHA requirements
  • Mentor less experienced construction professionals
  • Track project documentation, tasks, issues, etc.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractor
  • Travel required

Profile

Qualified Traveling Superintendent qualifications:

  • Ground Up Commercial Construction project experience - 5+ years preferred
  • Hospitality experience is highly valued but not required
  • Technical Savvy individual - Procore experience is a huge plus
  • Strong Reputation for working well with Subcontractors
  • Ability to create strong relationships with clients
